The main difference between the method for preparing the cemented carbide fast cheap metal grinding disc and the conventional method for preparing the grinding sheet is to use diamond powder and boron carbide as the abrasive.
According to Xia Borov, the process of preparing high quality metal grinding disc is as follows:
1) smoothing the surface with a diamond fast cheap metal grinding disc;
2) grinding on a cast iron plate with kerosene and boron carbide powder (particle size 5-15);
3) Grind twice with a rotating cast iron plate (n=800 rpm) with alcohol and diamond powder: the first diamond powder particle size is 3-5, and the second time is 1-3.
4) Polished with a rotating wooden high quality metal grinding disc with a full-fresh powder slurry, the diamond powder has a particle size of 1-2.
5) The diamond powder is finally polished with a fine felt to obtain a diamond powder having a particle size of 1.
The diamond powder slurry can be replaced by a solution of 5-7 ml of 20% caustic potash, 5-7 ml of 20% red blood salt solution, 40 g of reagent alumina, and 900 ml of distilled water.
